Our firm is pleased to announce the success of our 14th Annual Blewett Kicking Camp for 2019. The beautiful state of Montana, despite its small population, has produced some of the nation’s most impressive kickers to come out of the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. We are proud to support this ongoing tradition of excellence and help cultivate Montana’s next generation of kickers by sponsoring The Blewett Kicking Camp. This innovative and enriching camp is the first and only of its kind in this state. We at Hoyt & Blewett PLLC are honored to support our community and do our part in helping continue this long tradition of excellence, and proudly look back on this year’s success.
Blewett Kicking Camp is led by former college football players who teach participants the fundamentals of the kicking game, which include field goal kicking, punting, and kickoffs. The camp’s instructors provide instruction, video analysis and guidance, including organizing a competitive kicking contest for all participants. Held at the Paris Gibson Education Center in Great Falls, Montana, we are pleased to share this year’s camp was a success with some of the top talent we have seen in recent years. This year one of the camp’s participants earned a college scholarship and others are in contention to potentially receive scholarships after the complete their senior football seasons. Many previous attendees have earned conference-wide and state-wide recognition for their athletic achievements. We look forward to watching this year’s participants put their skills into action in the upcoming 2019 football season, which begins in August.
Camp director and Hoyt and Blewett attorney Anders Blewett, a former kicker at Harvard University, directs the seasoned staff at Blewett Kicking Camp. The instructors at the camp include former NCAA College Football Players include:
- Anders Blewett, kicked for Harvard University
- Drew Blewett, played at Tufts University and also an attorney at Hoyt and Blewett
- Tyler Bolton, kicked for Montana State University
- Trevor Bolton, kicked for Montana State University
