Anders Blewett

Partner

Whether climbing mountains, playing varsity football at Harvard University, wrestling for a state high school championship, or getting elected to public office, competition has always been an important part of Anders’ life. Watching his dad and now law partner, Zander, zealously represent his injured clients by out working his competitors in the courtroom inspired Anders to attend law school and dedicate his career to carrying on the family tradition of advocating for injured people.

Working with his dad on some of the most impactful injury cases in Montana history and learning from an innovating trial lawyer who has tried more than 100 jury trials has been the experience of a lifetime and has reinforced the good that can be accomplished for people through the law.

Anders Blewett was instrumental in obtaining a $27 million settlement in the brain injury case of Vangsnes vs. North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, Inc. et. al.  The settlement is the highest reported individual personal injury settlement in Montana history and was featured in The National Law Journal's Top 50 Settlements of 2015.

Anders Blewett has earned an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell™, the highest recognition possible in the legal industry, for his professionalism and ethics.

Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Anders has been heavily involved in his community and served in the state legislature for 6 years. He is currently the Vice President of the River’s Edge Trail Foundation, which supports an extensive 60 mile public trail network in Great Falls. He previously served on the board of the Big Brother’s Big Sisters of Central Montana. Each year Anders and his brother, and law partner, Drew Blewett host the Blewett Kicking Camp, which is a free youth football camp. When he is not working, Anders enjoys cycling, backcountry skiing, hiking, and chasing his two young children.
