Great Falls Trial Lawyer Zander Blewett's Firm Donates Van to Boys and Girls Club of Cascade County

As reported by the Great Falls Tribune, Zander Blewett of the Montana personal injury law firm Hoyt and Blewett donated $20,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Cascade County, a non-profit organization in Great Falls, Montana. The funds were used to purchase a new large red van to transport at-risk youths to various after-school programs sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club.

The Boys and Girls club, which has an aging fleet of vans in need of repair, desperately needed a new van to transport children safely to these programs. The funds donated by Blewett will also be used to make repairs to existing vehicles used to transport youths making them more reliable and safe.

“It’s critical to give kids the opportunity to participate in these programs and to make sure they arrive safely,” said Zander Blewett. “We deeply appreciate what the Boys and Girls Club does for this community and we are very pleased to be able to assist with their mission.”

In 2011 Zander Blewett gave $10,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Great Falls for a scholarship program. He also made a $10,000 donation to the organization in 2009.

The Hoyt and Blewett law firm, which represents families injured in auto accidents in Montana, strongly believes in transportation safety and their litigation efforts on behalf of injured individuals and families have prompted safer roads and railroad crossings in Montana.

Members of the firm have also advocated for enhanced safety regulations and transportation policies. Hoyt and Blewett firm member Anders Blewett spearheaded an effort to adopt a complete street policy in the City of Great Falls and with the State of Montana Department of Transportation to provide additional safeguards for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. Great Falls recently obtained its first bike lanes with more expected in the near future.
