Historically, Montana has been known as a state with a very high rate of injuries in the workplace.   In 2010, Montana had the most expensive workers compensation premium rates in the country. Workplace Injury in Montana: Important Statistics

Earlier this month a man from Spokane, WA died from a workplace injury in a forklift accident in Polson, Montana. The worker was operating a Gradall material handler when it rolled over on a steep hill after using it to replace a generator on a mountaintop. This unfortunate accident is an example of a worst-case scenario of a workplace injury.
