Railroad Accident Lawyers Great Falls

A massive railroad accident recently occurred in Montana a couple hundred miles west of Great Falls. The accident occurred early in the morning on Wednesday, September 4th and investigators have yet to declare the cause of the train derailment. It has been reported that 24 cars out of 66 derailed, and 4 cars partially landed in the Clark Fork River. According to reports, the train was carrying forest product and the track was damaged in the railroad accident and it took nearly 48 hours for the track to be reopened. Ninth Circuit Upholds $2.5 Million Montana Trucking Accident Verdict Obtained by Hoyt & Blewett PLLC

In a unanimous decision, the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals has affirmed a $2.5 million verdict rendered by a Butte jury in a wrongful death lawsuit involving a trucking accident which occurred in Montana. In the case Messick/Bowman v. Patrol Helicopters, Plaintiffs filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Patrol Helicopter alleging that the driver of a truck failed to signal and caused the deaths and serious injuries of the Plaintiffs who were in a vehicle which attempted to pass the truck.
